I may be late to post this, but I apologize because I had not heard. I worked at the T-M Small Animal Clinic where Jean believed she surely had paid for a wing. She had an infectious laugh and a great sense of humor that she always shared with us. I remembered that she made me a pen holder out of a can of Feline c/d. I believe she was also an M&M officianado. I will keep her loving laugh in my heart. Carol Barth

Jean was a special, beautiful, brave soul. She made me laugh at life and cry too..about the things that matter most. Like, our families, loved ones and our special pets. I enjoyed Jeans funny stories about Floyd, her beloved cat who she is now with. The others were special too as she adopted 2 young boys (kittens) as she didn't want to separate them. Jean had a heart of gold and loved her daughter Madelyn and taught her to be independent and reliable too. It is hard to let a daughter let go of that string on the balloon and watch it soar..we talked about our daughters growing up and letting go - when you know you will always be there for them to grab your hand. Mothers never let go, though..they cling with all their might and love and pray their daughters (children) will soar so high on the love and direction of those that care. Jean is soaring now and her family will miss her. But she is at peace and knows she did the best a mother and wife can do. She would want us all to continue laughing and loving our families and cats. My prayer for Jean and those she touched are that we keep on loving, keep on helping others and be the strong brave soul like she was. Stand strong and be there for those that need you..don't ever let go with your heart. Kay Macek

Obituary for Jean M. Crossman

Jean M. Crossman (Nee Zahorik) of Cedarburg, passed away peacefully on February 8th, at the age of 55, with her husband Bob by her side, after a short battle with cancer. Jean leaves behind her beautiful daughter Madelyn, whom she thought of as her best friend. Jean was raised in Cedarburg and loved to share stories of Cedarburg with anyone who would listen. She will be remembered for a lot of things, but her sense of humor, quick wit, willingness to help others, and the things she could knit, were amazing. She will be truly missed by her husband, daughter, kitties, and her ReMax family.
It was Jean’s wish not to have a funeral, but it is our wish that you remember Jean as the beautiful person that she was.
