Christopher "Chris" G. Andrews

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christopher "Chris" G. Andrews, who peacefully left this world on August 12, 2026, at the age of 61, surrounded by his loving family in Mequon, Wisconsin. Chris will be remembered for his warm spirit, genuine nature, and the profound love he had for his family and friends.

 Born to Daniel and Lola (nee Guember) Andrews, Chris dedicated a significant part of his life to his work, spending many years installing carpeting and forging close friendships along the way. In 2005, he married Sue (nee Wirth), the love of his life, and together they created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Chris found immense joy in camping, bonfires, and cookouts, always relishing the moments spent with those he loved. His grandchildren, Alex and Olivia, who affectionately called him "Grampy," brought him immeasurable happiness, and he cherished every moment he had with them. 

Throughout his life, Chris was known for being authentically himself—easygoing, honest, caring, and loyal. He had a distinct opinion on matters and often shared his thoughts candidly, embodying a spirit that was both welcoming and genuine. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures, whether it was visiting the state fair, trying his luck with the lottery, or enjoying get-togethers with family and friends.

 Chris is survived by his beloved wife, Sue, his daughter Jessica (Josh) Dennis, his two cherished grandchildren, Alex and Olivia, his sister Dana Andrews, and his niece Lyndsay Nejdlik, along with many other family members and close friends who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents and many other friends and family members who shaped his life.

Chris Andrews was an overall good guy whose presence will be deeply missed but whose spirit will continue to live on in the stories and memories shared by those who loved him.
