Keith Keller, age 76, of Grafton, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at home on August 25th, 2026, after many years of health complications. He was born on June 13th, 1950, and was adopted by Cliff and Marie Keller that same year. He lived a life filled with family, faith, adventure, service and friendship. He is preceded in death by his parents and by his mother and father-in-law.
Through the generosity of two families through organ donation, Keith was blessed with the gift of life. This allowed him the opportunity to watch his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren grow and thrive.
Keith was a devoted husband to his wife, Cindy, of 30 years. They enjoyed traveling -especially to the beach and trying new food. This included visiting family, friends and simply enjoying each other’s company. He and Cindy also enjoyed playing cribbage together, often resulting in a loss for Keith.
He was a loving father to Dawn Keller, Allissa Borchardt, and Amanda (Jon) Bunchkowski. Keith was a proud grandfather to Lauren (Joey) Polizzi and Emily (Nathan) Ashley, Isaiah and Everette Borchardt, and Harlow and Hattie Bunchkowski. He was also a cherished great-grandfather to Mazie and McKinley Ashley and Addy Polizzi. He is further survived by his sister-in-law, Brenda (Gary) Miles and their children, Jordan, Taylor and Lauren as well as his brother-in-law, Mike (Kelly) Schernickand their children, Brady and Bailey. He will also be deeply missed by his AA family.
Keith proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1970-1973 when he was honorably discharged. His commitment to service was an important part of who he was.
He enjoyed being out in nature and his favorite, most precious times were spent in the woods hunting with his grandson, Isaiah. He also enjoyed whitewater rafting, fishing, following any sports and was actively involved in the Grafton High School athletic programs. He was a proud mentor in both Big Brothers and Unity in Motion for many years.
His faith was also an important part of his life. Keith taught CCD and served as a lector for many years, giving his time generously to his church and community.
Alcoholics Anonymous was an impactful and meaningful part of Keith’s life. Through AA he found strength, fellowship, purpose and a community that meant so much to him. His journey and relationships were an important part of becoming the best version of himself. This gave him the opportunity to rebuild relationships with his family who meant the most to him. He was also an important mentor to those who walked the same path to grow and heal in the program.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St, Francis Borgia Catholic Church, 1375 Covered Bridge Rd., Cedarburg, Wisconsin on Saturday September 5th, 2026, at 11:00am. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:00am to 10:45am.
Keith will be deeply missed and forever loved.
In lieu of flowers, please consider becoming an organ donor. Any monetary donations may be made to Donate Life Wisconsin and Alcoholics Anonymous.
