William E. Raymond

William E Raymond passed peacefully away on December 1, 2025. He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Agnes Raymond and his three children, Karen, John and Jean.

Bill enlisted in the Navy in 1951 and served in the Atlantic during the Korean conflict. He was honorably discharged in April 1955. He was an avid adventurer, and visited Peru, Africa and Antarctica. He was an even more avid fisherman and spent countless hours with John fishing in the Boundary Waters.

Bill wrote his own obituary:

To my family, my friends and my friends at the American Legion and to the many people who crossed my life: I thank you all for putting up with my personality, sometimes it’s quite a load! I am so grateful and blessed to know you.
