Hoernel, William R. Of Grafton. September 5, 2017 at the age of 83 years. Beloved family member of Lorraine (Hoernel) & Earl Engus, Mary Alyce (Hoernel) & Bill Crane, Elle Chaffin, Erik & Tara Engus, Christopher Crane, Ashley Woodberry, Savannah Chaffin, Madison Chaffin and Samantha Engus. Further survived by other relatives and dearest friends, Jack & Karen Knippel and Mike & Leslie Ammons. William was preceded in death by his parents Gillespie & Elizabeth Hoernel; and his sister Betty Jean Knorr. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 15, 2017 – 1:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home in Grafton. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon to 12:45 PM. Interment Union Cemetery in Saukville. Memorials to Ozaukee Humane Society or American Legion of Grafton appreciated.
