William "Bill" L. Mangold, born on January 25, 1967, in Port Washington, Wisconsin, passed away on June 16, 2026, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was a man known for his strong work ethic and commitment, qualities that he developed early in life while delivering papers in Cedarburg.
Bill grew up attending St. Francis Borgia Elementary School and graduated from Cedarburg High School in 1985. His talents were many, especially when it came to fixing things. From a young age, he worked on motorbikes, mopeds, and anything with an engine. When he wasn't working at his job, he was often found working on cars or roofing. Bill had a deep appreciation for Harley Davidson motorcycles and took great pride in building his dream home.
He devoted over 30 years of his career to the Kohler Company, demonstrating the same dedication and care in his work as he did in his personal projects. Those who knew him would remember a very committed person who took pride in everything he did.
Bill is survived by his daughter, Ashley, and his granddaughters, Riley and Lily. He is also survived by his mother, Georgine, his brother Tom and his wife Kori, as well as his nephews Jackson, Daniel, and Max. He was preceded in death by his father, Francis, and his grandparents, Lawrence and Monica.
Friends and family will have the opportunity to pay their respects during a visitation held on June 25, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:45 PM at Mueller Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 979 North Green Bay Road, Grafton, WI 53024. A memorial service will follow at the same location on the same day from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
Bill’s life was marked by hard work, a love for motorcycles and engines, and the fulfillment of dreams through perseverance. He will be remembered by his loved ones for his strength, commitment, and the pride he took in all he built and cared for.
