Vernon E. Brandt

Vernon E. Brandt, beloved member of the Cedarburg, Wisconsin community, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2026, at the age of 85, at Hawthorn Manor in West Bend.

Vernon was born on April 30, 1941, in Saukville, Wisconsin, to George and Alinda (nee Hanamann) Brandt. He dedicated many years of his life working diligently at both Amcast and Liesener’s Landscaping.

He will be lovingly remembered by his surviving brother, George Brandt along with many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his devoted wife, Barbara (nee Krimmer), as well as his son, Jason; daughter, Christine; his sister, Darlene Jensen (nee Masse); and parents, George Brandt and Alinda (nee Hanamann).

A man of diverse interests, Vernon found joy in attending the Slinger Speedway races and listening to polka music. He cherished the memories made while traveling with Barbara in their green and white van, collecting bumper stickers from each state they visited. He had a fond affection for animals, especially his beloved dog, Thumbelina, in his earlier years, and his house dog, Nugget.

A committal service for Vernon will take place at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at Immanuel Cemetery in Cedarburg with Rev. Vicki Simon officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to any charity of your choice.
