Tracie Marie Sevener

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beautiful and beloved mom, Tracie Marie Sevener, age 67. She passed away peacefully on hospice in her daughter’s home on July 24, 2025, surrounded by her children during her final days.

Tracie was born on February 13, 1958, in Waukesha, WI, to the late Sandra Lee (Nehrbass) Brubaker and Russell William Boyes. On October 19, 1974, she married the love of her life, the late Timothy John Sevener, and together they raised their children Bryan Sevener (Amanda), Shawna Sevener-Chitwood (Josh), Jason Sevener (Jessie), and Danielle Usina (Shawn) on their 5-acre hobby farm in Fredonia, WI, building a life rooted in love, family, and deep devotion.

Her greatest legacy lives on in her grandchildren: Matthew, Brandan, Ethan, Teagan, Brinley, Logan, Lucas, Landon, Mason, and Piper. She is also survived by her siblings: Tom Boyes and James Brubaker (Lisa), along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends who loved her dearly.

Tracie was known for her strong spirit, sharp wit, and unapologetic honesty. She was forward, direct, and never one to sugarcoat—but always with love and loyalty at the core. Her family always knew where she stood, and that kind of clarity was part of her charm. Beneath her tough exterior was a deeply caring soul who would do anything for those she loved. She was the heart of her family, and her presence will be profoundly missed.

Tracie began her working years at General Motors, later dedicating herself as a full-time wife and mother. After Timothy’s passing, she returned to the workforce and found purpose and community as a lead cook at Lasata Care Center, where she poured her heart into caring for others.

She loved her family deeply and found joy in life’s simple pleasures—gardening, baking, getting her hair and nails done, and doting on her beloved collies. She cherished Harley rides, traveling to Vero Beach, Florida, and watching butterflies in her blooming flowerbeds. Her warmth, humor, and fierce love will live on in every flower planted and every story shared.

While we grieve her absence, we take comfort in knowing Tracie is now reunited with those she held dearest who passed before her—her husband of 29 years, Timothy John Sevener, her beloved brother Stephen Allen Keil, and her parents Sandra Lee Brubaker and Russell William Boyes. We imagine their embrace, laughter, and love as they welcome her home.

A celebration of Tracie’s life will be held at Alliance Bible Church, 13939 N Cedarburg Rd, Mequon, WI 53097, on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM with a visitation preceding at 9:30 AM till 10:45 AM. Luncheon to proceed shortly after the service.

Per Tracie’s request, attendees should wear something comfortable and colorful.
