Susan A. Geier

Susan A. Geier, née Brohm, a beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished member of the Cedarburg community, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2026, in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. Born on June 7, 1944, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Susan’s life was marked by warmth, dedication, and a genuine caring nature that touched the hearts of all who knew her.

A graduate of Cedarburg High School, Susan contributed not only through her academic pursuits but also through her musical talents as a member of the school band. Her commitment to community and education extended well beyond her youth, as she devoted 36 years of her life to serving as a secretary at Thorson and Westlawn Elementary Schools. Throughout her career, Susan was known for her poise, helpfulness, and thoughtful consideration of others—qualities that endeared her to colleagues, students, and families alike.

Susan’s personality could be described as classy and consistently giving. She was always thinking of others, a characteristic best illustrated by the fond memories many hold of her chocolate chip cookies and numerous other baked treats, shared generously with friends, family, and neighbors. Her love of the outdoors was evident in her enthusiasm for trapshooting, her affection for her pet birds, and cherished times spent in Mercer, Wisconsin. Above all, Susan treasured the moments spent with family and friends, cultivating bonds rooted in love and mutual support.

Her proudest accomplishments were raising her two sons, Daniel and David, who, along with their families, remain a pillar of strength and comfort. Susan’s survivors include her son's: Daniel Geier and his wife Noell and David Geier and his fiancée Joann; her grandchildren: Sarah (married to Travis), Marie, Amber, and Ashley. She is also remembered fondly by her sister-in-law Marilyn Koshel, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives, and countless friends whose lives she touched so deeply.

Susan is preceded in death by her loving parents, Harold and Annette Brohm, and her husband, Donald Geier, whose memories she carried close to her heart throughout her life.

Though her passing came unexpectedly and too soon, it was peaceful—she departed this life in the arms of Jesus, embraced by grace and surrounded by love. Her legacy of kindness, strength, and unwavering compassion remains a guiding light for all who had the privilege to know her.
