Ruth E. Heuer

Ruth E. Heuer (nee Schommer), born on May 2, 1934, in Decada, WI, peacefully passed away on January 30, 2026, in Grafton, WI. A beloved cook at Grafton High School, she touched the lives of many with her warm spirit and hearty meals.

Ruth was known for her love of wine and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was an avid bird watcher and had a fondness for game shows, often cheering for her favorite contestants from the comfort of her home. Ruth was a dedicated member of St. Joe's and will be dearly missed by her community.

She is survived by her children, Scott (Sandy) Heuer and Karen (Kenny) Senft, her grandchildren, Steven Heuer, Jeffrey (Katie) Heuer, Kristin (Steven) Senft, Karalen (Jordan) Senft, Kevin Senft, and Kyle Senft, and great-grandchildren, Rese Heuer and Chase Heuer. Ruth is also survived by her siblings, Robert (Jean) Schommer and Monica (Steve) Frantz, along with her beloved mailman, Herb Justman, and many other friends and family members.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene "Gene" Heuer, and her parents, Joseph and Eugenia Schommer. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
