Ronald "Ron" Boehlke

Ronald “Ron” Erich Martin Boehlke, passed away into the peaceful arms of Jesus on December 1, 2025, at the age of 81. He was born on November 18, 1944, to his late parents, Ernst Boehlke and Esther (nee Pipkorn) in Port Washington. He was baptized as an infant at Trinity Lutheran Church in Freistadt. He was united in marriage to his wife, Janice (nee Prochnow), on July 1, 1967, at David’s Star Lutheran church. Their marriage was blessed with two daughters, Jill and Kay.

Ron worked his entire career at Boehlke Bottled Gas and retired in 2006. In recent years, he found great enjoyment in watching the birds that visited his feeders and listening to country gospel music.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Janice, his two daughters Jill (Robert) Klug and Kay (Randal) Wagner, and grandchildren Samuel, Abigail, Michael (Emily), Austin, and Jordan. He is further survived by his siblings Loretta Riemer, Harold Boehlke, and Delbert (Jean) Boehlke, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernst and Esther, his brother-in-law, Willard Riemer, his sister-in-law, Carole Boehlke, and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harry and Lucille Prochnow.

Ron’s family would like to thank the gracious caregivers at Serenity Villa Assisted Living in Slinger for their dedication and kindness.

There will be a Funeral Service held for Ron at 3:00 PM on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at David’s Star Lutheran Church in Jackson with Pastor Michael Woldt officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM till 2:45 PM at the church. A private burial will take place at the church cemetery on Monday, December 8, 2025. Memorials to David’s Star Lutheran Church and Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School are appreciated.
