Patricia "Patti C" Ann Cardinal

With a heart full of love and cherished memories, we lovingly remember Patricia Ann Cardinal, affectionately known as Patti C, who peacefully passed away on March 8, 2026, in West Bend, Wisconsin, after a courageous and long battle with lung cancer. Born on November 24, 1944, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, Patricia was the beloved daughter of Stanley and Grace (nee Beirne) Szczepan and stepdaughter to Henry Brunkhardt, all of whom have preceded her in passing.

Patti was a vibrant and highly social woman who treasured her time with family and friends above all else. She graduated from Thomas Edison High School in Elizabeth and pursued her passion for cosmetology at the Charles of the Ritz Cosmetology School in New York City. Her dedication and skill flourished as she proudly owned and operated Cardinal's Hair Design in Grafton, Wisconsin, for 18 wonderful years, sharing her warmth and talent with the community. In addition, she dedicated a decade of her life working at Sendik's in Grafton, where her friendly spirit brightened the days of many.

Her love for life extended beyond her career; she delighted in bowling and gambling, always enjoying the excitement and camaraderie these hobbies brought. Many fond memories were made during her visits to the casino and countless moments spent surrounded by the laughter and love of her family.

Patricia is lovingly survived by her devoted son Ed Leszczak and cherished granddaughter Jessica Leszczak, who were the light of her life. She also leaves behind her dear brother Larry, along with his wife Nancy, and her beloved nieces Stephanie and Stacey, who all continue to hold her in their hearts.

Though Patricia is deeply missed, her joyful spirit, unwavering love, and the laughter she shared will forever remain a guiding light for her family. As a devoted mother and grandmother, Patti C’s legacy is one of kindness, strength, and a boundless capacity to bring joy to those around her.

We hold onto the precious memories of her vibrant life and the love she so freely gave, feeling blessed to have had such an extraordinary woman in our lives. Rest peacefully, dear Patricia, knowing you were deeply loved and will be forever remembered.  Private family services were held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Grafton, WI
