Olga Gyorgy

Olga Gyorgy, of Sussex, passed away Monday, August 23, 2021 at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Martin Gyorgy, for 66 years. Wonderful mama to Mary (John) Zolinski and Marty Gyorgy Jr. Grandmother to Christopher (Amanda) Hauglie, Marty (Bonnie) Gyorgy, Adam (Amber) Zolinski and Amy Zolinski. Great-grandmother to Caleb, Leah, Jonah, Brooklyn, Marty and Cooper. Further survived by her sister, Franziska Ellenberger. Olga was born in Hungary on October 6, 1932 and after World War II moved to Germany. Olga then immigrated to the United States in the 1950’s where she met Martin in New Jersey. Olga and Martin were married in New Jersey and moved to Wisconsin where they set their roots and raised a family. She enjoyed road trips with the family to National Parks, Canada and Northern Wisconsin. Olga also enjoyed shopping, she was an amazing cook and baker, crocheting, sewing, bowling and doing a variety of arts and crafts. Olga retired from Starline Manufacturing. She will be missed by family, friends and other relatives. Olga was very outgoing, loved to talk, enjoyed meeting new people and “sweet” like the bakery that she loved to share with others. Private Services will be held at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
