Michael Anthony Rudzik, age 75, of Jackson, WI was received into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, September 14, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, WI.
Mike was born on May 10,1950 in Detroit, MI to Walter and Rita Rudzik. He entered the Air Force at age 22, where he met and married his precious wife, Debra Kiehnau, of 52+ years. Master Sergeant Rudzik loved serving his country as an electronic warfare specialist. Upon retiring from the military after 24 years of honorable service, Mike worked at the Medical College of Wisconsin as an electronic technician, retiring after 19 years. Mike was a family man. He considered his 3 children, Shawn, Rachel, and Sarah, as well as his son-in-law Ellis Marshman and his grandson Ellis Marshman III, his gifts from God. Mike enjoyed family vacations, being out in nature, and tinkering with things around his home. Mike showed his love for His Savior Jesus by loving and serving others. He enjoyed being a part of the American Legion Post 486 in Jackson, WI, leading prayer groups as a team with Debra, and serving as head usher at his local church. Mike will be greatly missed and dearly treasured in all of our hearts.
Mike is survived by his wife, Debra Rudzik; 3 children: Shawn Rudzik, Rachel Rudzik, Sarah (Ellis) Marshman; 1 grandchild, Ellis Marshman III; six siblings: Anne Lester, Margaret Rudzik, Paul (Cindy) Rudzik, Bernard Rudzik, Joe Rudzik, Maureen Lester
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Rita Rudzik; mother-in-law Rosalie Kiehnau; and 4 beloved brothers-in-law: Casey Lester, Charlie Lester, Keith Kiehnau, and Ron Martin
A celebration of life memorial service will be held for Mike at Grace Christian Church, 1596 4th St., Fond du Lac, WI on Saturday, October 18th, 2025. Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:45pm. Service will follow concluding with full military honors. Pastor Paul Pfeffer will be officiating.
In memory of Mike, in lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to Grace Christian Church. Memorials to the family are also appreciated.
