Marvin L. Kannenberg

Marvin L. Kannenberg of Cedarburg passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, August 4th, 2025 at the age of 89 years. Marvin was born in Cedarburg, WI on April 22nd, 1936 to the late Hugo and Luisa Kannenberg.

On May 21st, 1966 Marvin married the love of his life, the late Fern Kannenberg (nee Wittenberger) at First Immanuel Church in Cedarburg.

An avid craftsman, Marvin worked as a carpenter focusing on home construction. You could always find him working diligently to perfect each of his projects, which he then surrounded himself with. Marvin was also quite the handyman, you could count on him to fix anything. Because of his selfless nature he would also help anyone when in need.

Marvin’s favorite of his creations was his family. He is survived by his daughter Holly Marshall and son Nowell Kannenberg. He is further survived by his sister, Dolly, many grandchildren, family members and friends.

Per Marvins request, private family services will be held at a later date.
