Lurilee B. Springer-Wilson

Lurilee Springer-Wilson passed away on December 23, 2021 in Mequon, WI. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Steve, brother Larry Wilson, daughters Alison (Adam) Umbarger and Audrey, and grandchildren Nathan, Hope, and Zoë Umbarger. Lurilee was born in Denver, CO on December 2, 1950 to Lawrence and Gladys Wilson. She graduated from Colorado State University and the University of Wisconsin with degrees in home economics and consumer science. Married in Madison, WI, she and Steve lived in Dearborn, MI, Longmont, CO, and Mequon, WI. Lurilee came to know Christ while living in Salem, OR after college. The rest of her life, she was a devout Christian and actively involved in community Bible studies and her church, and she spent lots of time praying for family and friends. As an avid seamstress, she enjoyed making clothes for herself, her daughters, and her grandchildren. She was a doting grandma and loved taking her grandkids to the park or joining them at the apple orchard. She will be remembered for her caring and warm personality. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 - 3:00 PM at Alliance Bible Church 13939 N. Cedarburg Rd. Mequon.
