Lois Ruth Hansen

Lois Ruth Hansen, age 73, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2025, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Born on September 24, 1951, in St. Paul, Minnesota, Lois was the beloved daughter of the late Leatta Priebe Spomer and Weldon Priebe. She was a woman of deep faith, sharp wit, and generous spirit—someone whose warmth and kindness touched everyone who knew her.

Lois was a devout Lutheran and a gifted musician. She earned her Master of Music from Concordia University, St. Paul, and later went on to obtain her MBA from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. She served as the organist and music director at a local Presbyterian church for over 25 years, enriching the lives of many through her music and leadership.

Professionally, Lois built a distinguished career in the financial services industry, eventually founding her own consulting firm, LRH Associates, where she continued to mentor and guide clients with integrity, insight, and care.

She is lovingly remembered by her sons, Matt Hansen and Kyle (Betsy) Hansen; her cherished grandchildren, Maya and Hannah Hansen; and her siblings, Paul (Linda) Priebe, Joy (Joel) Zabel, and John (Laura) Priebe. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at First Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg, Wisconsin, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m.
