Linda M. Rieboldt

Linda Mary Rieboldt (nee Byrne) passed away on October 25, 2026, at the age of 75. She was born on May 16, 1951, in Elmwood Park Illinois in 1951 to Jean and Bernie Byrne.

Linda’s blonde curly hair and creative, friendly spirit was enjoyed by all. Throughout her life she had close, meaningful friendships. Above all else she loved her family. She was mother to 4 children, Elizabeth (Pete) Barszcz, Jonathan (Bevin) Rieboldt, Justin Rieboldt and Natalie (Jess) Wegert, and married to Gary Rieboldt for 51 years. She is further survived by her siblings Greg (Kathy) Byrne, Pam (Warren) Fuller, and Jim (Agnus) Byrne. Along with six beloved grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Linda is preceded in death by her brother Richard and her parents, Bernie and Jean.

She was a teacher of Spanish and Language Arts. She loved a good book, her “book club” and planning a party. She was funny, clever, caring and just fiery enough. We will miss the way she made us laugh and love.

There will be a private Mass of Christian Burial held for Linda at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer's Association are appreciated.
