John P. Van Slyke Sr.

Van Slyke, John Of Grafton, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2012 at the age of 77 surrounded by his loving family after a short illnes. John is survived by his wife of 48 years, Diana (nee Berge); children: John II (Kristina) and Janice (Rodney) Ross; grandchildren: Emily and Shawn Ross; and Josephine and Marguerite Van Slyke; father-in-law Harold Berge and Brother-in-law Robert (Beth) Berge. A family tribute to John will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 25 – 6:00 PM. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM –5:45 PM. Memorials of your choice appreciated. John’s greatest pride and joy was his family and everyone knew how much he loved them. He was a gentle and loving person, a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.
