Jeronald (Jerry) Waldschmidt was welcomed into the arms of Our Lord on January 28, 2026 at the age of 85 years. Born to Elmer and Luella (nee Schmitt) Waldschmidt on September 5, 1940, Jerry was the youngest of seven children.

After years of teaching at St. Luke’s Grade School, Mount Mary College and St. Charles Boys Home, he worked at Heritage Insurance Company in Sheboygan and MGIC in Milwaukee until he retired.
Jerry is survived by the love of his life, Helen (nee Egerman), whom he married on July 27, 1968 in St. Cloud, MN. He was a loving father to Jennifer Scanlon, Switzerland, Stephanie Rossi (Peter), Brookfield, WI and Michael (Michelle), De Forest, WI and was a wonderful papa to his grandchildren: Andrew Rossi, Jonathan Rossi, Alexandra Rossi, Ryan Scanlon, Aiden Scanlon and Aoife Scanlon.
