Gloria Anne Hilgendorf

Of Cedarburg, WI, went Home to her Lord and Savior on November 27, 2025. She was born and raised in Cedarburg, WI on November 21, 1926 to the late William and the late Clara (nee Kaul) Klug.

She got married on August 23, 1947 to Norvin Hilgendorf, and they were happily married for 49 years.

Gloria is survived by her son, Robert (Nancy), grandchildren: Meagan (Chris), Madison, Angela, Ryan (Jen), Matthew (Ina) and James (Mia); great-grandchildren: Allison, Billie, Indira and Andrew Jr.; and daughters-in-law, Cindy and Pamela.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Sylvia, husband, Norvin, sons, William and Thomas, and grandson, Jeffrey.

Gloria was mostly a stay-at-home loving wife and mother. She raised her three sons, Bill, Bob and Tom. She also enjoyed cooking, sewing, family gatherings, vacations and getting together with friends.

She was a kind and giving person, strong in her faith, who will be greatly missed by friends, relatives and all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at 4:00PM, at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, 10729 W Freistadt Road, Mequon. A visitation will be held on Sunday, at the church from 2:00PM until 3:45PM. Private family burial will take place at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church are appreciated.
