Geraldine “Jerry” B. Anderson took the hand of the Lord on Saturday, June 20, 2026, and danced her way into Heaven to meet up with her husband, Gene. Geraldine was born on February 10, 1931, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Peter and Madelia (nee Gebhard) Mueller. Geraldine and Eugene were united in marriage on July 1, 1950, at St. Michael’s Parish in Milwaukee, WI. Their 46 years together were blessed with six children.
Geraldine’s legacy carries on through her precious children: Linda Van Voorhis, Sue (Jay) Depp, Shirley Zwicker, Nancy (Phil) Kissinger, Dave (Karen) Anderson, and Steve (Sandie) Anderson. She was Grandma Anderson to her 17 grandchildren: Jeff (Jenny) Williams, Brian (Nicole) Williams, Julie (Matt) Recupero, Tom (Corri) Depp, Lisa (Eric) Suchomel, Mike (Tina) Zwicker, Laura (Jason) Mageras, Sam Kissinger, Eric (Chloe) Kissinger, Chase (Oliivia) Anderson, Ashley Anderson, Allan (Torri) Anderson, Will Anderson, Claire Anderson, Kailey (Ben) Simms, Makenzie Anderson, and Emily Anderson. Jerry was a loving great-grandmother to 24: Alysa, Jack, Ashlyn, Jake, Sam, Gabby, Tatum, Lexie, Kobie, Aubrey, Addilyn, Maddie, Michael, Alex, Ashley, Isla, Alice, Heidi, Remel, Ansley, Elladie, Calla, Lacey, and Delaney. She is further survived by her 3 great-great grandchildren, friends, and relatives. Geraldine’s devotion to her family was unwavering, and she leaves behind a tapestry of treasured memories and traditions that will be held dearly in the hearts of those who loved her most. She often said, “One day you’ll travel miles to see each other.”
Geraldine is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eugene “Gene” Anderson, her parents, siblings Margaret Kercher, Helen Friedrich, and Leo Mueller, and sons-in-law Steve Van Voorhis and Mark Zwicker.
Geraldine led a busy lifestyle rooted in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Louisville, Kentucky, and currently, Grafton, Wisconsin. With her husband, Gene, they enjoyed round robins with their friends, camping, and traveling to St. Germaine and Shawano. She enjoyed dancing; listening to music; playing bridge, sheepshead, kings in the corner; and she would join the “Anderson Sibs Chat” every Sunday night to connect with her children. She found joy having her hair done every Thursday (special thanks to Wendy). A devout Catholic, Geraldine was very devoted to the Blessed Mother and a current member at St. John 23rd Parish in Port Washington. Prior parishes were St. Philip Neri in Milwaukee and St. Albert the Great in Louisville.
Those wishing to pay their respects are invited to the following services: Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home, 979 N Green Bay Rd, Grafton, WI 53024.
