Frank J. Wintersberger

Born to Eternal Life on September 24, 2026 at the age of 90. Frank was born on March 31, 1936 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Frank and Theresa Wintersberger. He grew up working in the family’s grocery store. He had a sister, Erna, who preceded him in death, as well as two nieces, Janelle and Nancy (Bob), along with two step brothers: Bill (Dorian) and Karl (Rose) Jordan. He held a Master’s Degree in Business from Marquette University in Milwaukee. On August 13, 1960, he married Inge A. Giesler, and they had two children: Kim (Ahmad) and Rick (Victoria), to whom he was very close, as well as to his grandchildren: Krista, Klaus, and Helena Wintersberger and Aziz and Omar Ashour.

Frank and Norm Dyer founded a food brokerage firm, Venture Marketing, in Menomonee Falls in 1976 and sold it in 2006. During that time, it grew from the two of them working out of their basements to 77 employees spread across several states. They had the good fortune to work with great people and great companies.

Frank loved to travel, especially to Germany, as he was proud of his heritage. He was an avid golfer, until he was not able to continue playing due to Parkinson’s Disease. He indicated that if anyone asks how he wants to be remembered, he said to say the following: “I gave it my all!”

A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis Borgia North Catholic Church in Cedarburg. Interment will be at Immanuel Cemetery.  If you wish, memorial donations in memory of Frank can be sent to Marquette University in Milwaukee or St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Cedarburg.
