Frank M. Platt Jr.

Frank Martin Platt Jr, 75, of West Bend, Wisconsin, passed away June 28th, 2025. Frankie was born on August 22nd 1949 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to the late Frank Martin Platt Sr. and Magdalene F. (Binder) Platt.

Frankie grew up in Mequon, Wisconsin and Graduated from Homestead High school in 1967. He served his country in the US Army in Vietnam, 2 BDE. 9 BN. A CO. 3 PLT. He was a medic stationed at the 95th Evacuation Hospital, Danang. 1969~1971. Frankie enjoyed classic cars and photography as well as collecting postage stamps, baseball cards, vintage beer cans, old money and coins. He was a true animal lover and enjoyed feeding birds and other wildlife in his yard. Like the rest of his family, Frankie never met a cat he didn’t like. He often donated needed items to the local humane society and the wildlife zoo. He was a giver, often giving to others when he didn’t have or take much for himself.

Frankie is survived by his Daughter Annette (Kyle) James, his Siblings Debra (Greg), Barbara (Gary),Michael, Alan, Connie, Juliana, and many Nieces, Nephews, Brother In-law John Gilson, and good friend Fred Gullo.

Preceded in death by his Parents Frank and Madge, his Sister, Nancy Gilson and Nephew, Alexander Johnson.

The family is grateful for the compassionate support provided by staff at Clement J. Zablocki Veterans Affairs Medical center, Milwaukee.

A celebration of life will be held in August.
