Frances Anne (nee Strazer) Seifert of Cedarburg, Wisconsin passed away peacefully at the age of 78 on April 30, 2025 at Kathy's Hospice in West Bend, Wisconsin. Fran was born November 14,1946 in Waukegan, Illinois to Jacob and Edith (nee Dobnikar) Strazer. She was baptized on March 4,1956 and confirmed May 18,1958 at Christ Episcopal Church in Waukegan. Fran graduated from Waukegan High School in 1964 and shortly thereafter moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin and attended Mt. Sinai Nursing School.
On August 12, 1967, Fran was united in marriage to Paul W. Seifert at Christ Episcopal Church. Paul and Fran were blessed with two sons, Paul and Mark, and raised their family in Cedarburg.
Faith, Family and Friends were the foundation of Fran's life. She was a very active member of two local churches, Grace Lutheran and First Immanuel Lutheran, serving in the choirs at each and also as a council member at Grace. She was a Stephen Minister at First Immanuel.
Fran enjoyed spending time with Paul, family and friends and lived an active life, full of travel, family and friend trips and outdoor activities. We will always remember Fran's easy laugh, kind words and her gracious and thoughtful demeanor. The way she quietly gave space for disagreement, but also stubbornly defended what was important.
Fran leaves behind her husband, Paul of 58 years, her sons Paul (Juliene) and Mark (Cathy), grandchildren; Jessica (Tanner) Tetzlaff, Cameron Devor, Jacob and Ryan Seifert, great grandchild Grayson, brother Jim (Mary) Strazer, other beloved family and helpful neighbors.
Fran is preceded in death by her parents Jacob and Edith and Paul and Marie Seifert.
Special Thanks to Horizon Home Hospice and Kathy's Hospice who gave great comfort and care.
