Frances “Fran” Betz (nee Freitag)

Born to eternal life on June 28, 2025, at the age of 98.

Fran was born on August 15, 1926, in Grafton to her late parents, John and Helen (nee Becker) Freitag. She was united in marriage to William J. Betz on January 26, 1957, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Grafton, WI.

She is survived by her nieces, Jill (Randy) Radke, Dr. Wendy Freitag, Becky (John) Helmlinger, and Sally Weber. Great Aunt to Eric (Lora) Radke, Chad (Kelly) Radke, Amy (Fred) Schomann, Mark (Shawna) Weber, Nic, Elizabeth, Victoria Weber, Catherine (Charles) Holinka. Great Great Aunt of Madeleine and Sydney Radke, Mason, Maddox, Sienna Schomann, Gaberialla and Joshua Radke, Evelyn Weber and Abagail Holinka. She is further survived by many friends and family.

Fran is preceded in death by her beloved husband, William and their infant son, William, along with her parents John and Helen, sister Ann Weber, brothers Clem Freitag and Norbert Freitag, sister-in-law Ruth Klenner, brother-in-law Leroy Weber, and nephews Ken Weber and Ron Spasaro.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday July 8, 2025, at 5:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with a visitation from 3:30 PM till 4:45 PM at the church. Memorials to St. Joseph Catholic Church or charity of your choice are appreciated.
