Dorothy K. Collins (nee Manor),

Of West Bend, peacefully passed away on December 20, 2025, at the age of 96. She was born on September 9, 1929, in Milwaukee, to her late parents, Lydel Manor and Maude (nee Sumter). Dorothy was united in marriage with the late George F. Collins on May 20, 1950, at St. Boniface Church in Milwaukee. Together, they cherished 80 years filled with romance and were blessed with two children, Keith (Cynthia I.) Collins and Bridget (Terry) Kuhlenbeck.

Because of Dorothy’s work ethic, she spent many years working as a waitress. She started her career at the original Fischer’s Sandwich Shop of the 1950’s, which is now called Ma Fischer’s. She also loved to crochet, make chicken dumpling soup, and appreciate the scenery while going for car rides with George. Visiting the casino together was her favorite past time away from home, however sitting with George on their front porch swing was the most precious past time of them all.

Dorothy is survived by her two children, Keith (Cynthia I.) Collins and Bridget (Terry) Kuhlenbeck; grandchildren, Donny (Kasey-Jo), Jeremy (Erin), Tammie (Mike), Jody (Jennifer), Stephen (Deborah), Vanessa (Chad), Casey (Angela); great-grandchildren, Wesley, Victoria (Hector), Miranda, Wyatt, Noah, Bodie, Cooper, Nora, Ella, George, Justin, Chaz, Bailey, Gavin, Cora, Gage, Montgomery, and Reginald; and her sister, Arlene Mifko. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, George F. Collins; her parents, Lydel and Maude; and nine siblings.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 6:00 PM on Friday, January 2, 2026, at Holy Angels Catholic Church in West Bend. Dorothy’s family will receive friends and family from 4:00 PM to 5:45 PM prior to the service at church. Following the service, family and friends will meet at American Legion Peter Wollner Post #288 in Cedarburg for a light luncheon. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Holy Angels Catholic Church are appreciated.
