Donna M. Dowe

Donna M. Dowe (née Klug), age 86, of Cedarburg, was called to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 3, 2025, with her family by her side.

Donna was born on February 21, 1939, in Port Washington, Wisconsin, to the late Clarence and Mabel (née Moths) Klug. She graduated from Port Washington High School in 1957. She was united in marriage to Harry Dowe on March 25, 1960. Together, they raised four children and shared 65 wonderful years of marriage.

Donna was a devoted stay-at-home mom during her children's early years before working at the Piggly Wiggly deli. She was known for sharing her delicious recipes and friendly demeanor.

In her free time, Donna loved reading, playing Sheepshead, playing games with her grandchildren, working on word puzzles, tending to her beautiful flowers, and cooking. Polka dancing with Harry, and spending time with family and friends were among her favorite pastimes. Donna leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and joy, and her memory will live on in the hearts of her husband, children, grandchildren, and all those fortunate enough to have shared in her life.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Harry Dowe; her children: Kevin (Therese) Dowe, Karen (Greg) Kopacz, Wendy (Doug) Mueller, and Ryan (Jodi) Dowe; grandchildren: Carl (Dawn) Kopacz, Thomas Kopacz, Kyle Dowe, Derek Mueller, and Kendra Dowe; and great-grandchildren: Samuel Kopacz, Zachariah Kopacz, and Hazyl Dowe. She is further survived by sisters-in-law Laura Klug and Carol Eberhardt; brother-in-law John (Mavis) Dowe; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends. Donna was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Wayne Klug; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harry and Meta Dowe; sister-in-law, Patricia (Alvin) Mantel; and brother-in-law, Richard Eberhardt.

VISITATION: The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, W61 N498 Washington Ave., Cedarburg. A Memorial Service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church or a charity of your choice in Donna’s name.
