Denise A. Mueller

Denise Ann Mueller lost her battle with cancer on July 13th, 2021, at the age of 58. A celebration of Denise’s life will be held at Mueller Funeral home in Grafton (979 N Green Bay Road, Grafton, WI) on Saturday, July 17th. A visitation will take place at 11am-1pm followed by a service at 1pm. Pastor John Norquist will be officiating the service. Denise was born on April 26th, 1963, in Port Washington, WI. She was raised by George and Nancy West. She graduated Grafton High School, class of 1982. After high school Denise went into the work force where she started her career in childcare. She got married to Melvin Mueller on July 22nd, 2000. She was a mother to Heather Wiklin, Kayla West, Brooke Krumbiegel and Devin Krumbiegel. She was a grandmother to Mason and Harper Wiklin. Denise had a nature about her that would make everyone feel welcome in her home the instant they walked in. Denise would be described by her friends as a proud mother of four children and a loyal friend. She was happiest around her children and grandchildren. She was a strong woman was no to be tested with, she fought for what and who she believed in. She was satisfied with the simple pleasures of life. She was known for her love of Diet Coke. Everyone that knew her never saw her without a Diet Coke in hand. Denise will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Denise is survived by her husband of 21 years, Mel Mueller. Her children Heather Wiklin (Colin), Kayla West and Brooke Krumbiegel. She is further survived by her grandchildren Mason and Harper Wiklin. Her father George West, her three brothers: Dale West, David West, and Danny West (Elayne) and niece Andrea West. Denise was preceded in death by her mother Nancy West and her son Devin Krumbiegel.
