Cynthia A. Thomas

Cynthia (Cindy) Ann Thomas, 77, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025, surrounded by her family and friends. Born on July 20, 1948, in Gilman, Wisconsin, Cindy was raised by her loving parents, Lawrence and Lorraine Kapsy, and went on to live a life filled with laughter, love and resilience in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. 

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Spencer Thomas. Cindy is survived by her three sons Eric, Dan, and Michael and her sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Doug, ten grandchildren, and a nephew, all of whom brought immense joy and love to her life. 

Known for her warmth, humor, and unmistakable zest for life, Cindy cherished every moment spent with her family and friends. We will always remember the “Salt & Pepper” finishes to our baths, Sunday nights at Tomaso’s, and her amazing homemade Halloween costumes for the grandchildren. She especially loved her shopping adventures, always finding a hidden treasure, and her yearly visits to the Cayman Islands, where she soaked up the sunshine and spent happy days snorkeling in the sea, collecting sand dollars. 

A service to celebrate Cindy’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that you take a moment to remember your special times with her and wish her well on her journey home. Cindy will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
