Cynthia Ann Patton

Cynthia (Clemons) Patton, beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, passed away peacefully in her home at Harvest Home Assisted Living in Grafton, Wisconsin, surrounded by loved ones on November 26, 2025. She was born on May 21, 1940, the daughter of Elizabeth (Kelley) and Lester Clemons in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After high school, Cynthia moved to Madison, Wisconsin, and worked at International Harvester where she met her husband, Darrell Patton.

Cynthia found great joy in crafting throughout her life with a focus on stitching, knitting, and quilting. She dedicated much of her time to creating family heirlooms including cherished holiday decorations, customized quilts, and personalized Christmas stockings for her grandchildren. The community outside of the family also benefited from her talents, as she knitted hats for service members and bird nests for local animal rescues.

Cynthia cherished spending time with her family, including hosting everyone at their home in Arizona for various vacations and holidays. Some of her fondest memories were made at “Wit’s End”, the family home in Manitowish Waters, Wisconsin, where summers were spent enjoying lake sports and playing games. She also had a deep love of animals and always had dogs and cats to keep her busy.

Cynthia is survived by her three children: William Patton, Laura Patton, and Debra (Glen) Turk; grandchildren Derrek Ellingson, Mattie Faber, Kerri (Kevin) Helm, Alexander Bast, and Debra Nicole Bast; great-grandchildren Alaina Kubasiak, Elijah Kubasia, Chloe Helm, and Camille Helm. Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Thomas Clemons, and sister Margaret Clemons.

Cynthia Patton leaves behind a memory of her warm, welcoming smile, creativity, and love, which will always be remembered by family and all who were fortunate to know her.

Cynthia’s family extends a special word of gratitude to the staff and caregivers at Harvest Home Assisted Living and Lily Hospice for their compassion, kindness, and extraordinary care.
