Charlie D. Kroening

Of Saukville, WI passed away unexpectedly on March 25, 2026 at the age of 63. Charlie was born in Milwaukee, WI on May 9, 1962 the son of the late Harry and Betty (nee Does) Kroening. Charlie moved to Cedarburg with his family in 1967, he attended First Immanuel Lutheran School and graduated from Cedarburg High School in 1980. After graduation, Charlie worked for Charter Steel in Saukville for 25 years, Owned the bar called The Office in Grafton for eight years and also worked at Koehler in Saukville, WI. Charlie was united in marriage on Jan. 6, 2006 to Teresa Kroening and together they welcomed their son Chase on Dec. 6, 2006. Charlie’s favorite hobby was bowling. He also enjoyed attending the Milwaukee Brewer’s games with his son.

Charlie is survived by his son Chase D. Kroening and Chase’s mother Teresa Kroening; siblings: Terry (Karen) Kroening, Steven (Mary) Kroening, David (Lori) Kroening, Mark Kroening and Michael (Donna) Kroening; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Charlie was preceded in death by his brother Thomas (Taco) Kroening and sister-in-law Karen M. Kroening.

A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home 979 N. Green Bay Rd. Grafton. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated.
