Carla Eileen Luther

Carla E. Luther, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, was called to her heavenly home on Friday, June 27, 2025, at the age of 82. Born in Janesville, Wisconsin on June 27, 1943, she was the daughter of Herbert and Margaret (nee Lohr) Zummak.

Carla fell in love with her husband Ingo “Bing” Luther and together they built a wonderful life with their two sons in Cedarburg, Wisconsin, filled with many treasured memories.

Carla will be lovingly remembered by her sons Todd (Kelly) and Mitchell (Tiffany) Luther; granddaughters: Alyssa Muchka and Karlye Bakalars; and great-grandchildren: Hunter and Hannah Bakalars. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Margaret (Lohr) Zummak; husband Ingo “Bing” Luther; sisters: Carolyn (Toby Jr.) Golembiewski, Sheryl Morgan and Leah (Tom) Lundgren.

Carla’s legacy of love and compassion will endure through the generations she touched. Affectionately referred to as Grandma with the Gumballs by her great-grandchildren, she will be forever missed and never forgotten.

A memorial service to celebrate Carla’s life will take place at 5:30pm on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Mueller Funeral Home & Crematory, in Cedarburg, Wisconsin with a visitation prior to the service from 4:00-5:30pm. Carla will be laid to rest with her husband “Bing” at Zur Ruhe Cemetery in Cedarburg, WI with a private family service on Wednesday, July 9, 2025.
