Barbara Dee Palubiski

Barbara Dee Palubiski, born on August 6, 1941, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was a cherished soul whose spirit radiated warmth and kindness. She peacefully departed this world on April 17, 2025, in Mequon, Wisconsin, at the age of 83, leaving behind an enduring legacy of love and positivity.

A proud graduate of Washington High School in 1959, Barbara also pursued her education at the University of Miami, where she cultivated not only her academic interests but also the boundless enthusiasm that characterized her life. Her maiden name, Fein, will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew her, as a testament to her family roots and the virtues instilled in her by her beloved parents, Robert and Esther Fein.

Barbara was more than just a beacon of optimism; she was a nurturing mother and devoted grandmother. Her children, Rory (Samara) Palubiski and Scott (Kristal) Palubiski, recall a mother who consistently showered them with affection, always kissing them goodnight and expressing her love each day. This unwavering devotion extended to her grandchildren—Brady (Abby Tattle), Breannah (Jarred Kettenhoven), Jackson (Sierra Lange), Brendan, Jaden, Lyli, and Olivia—who were the apples of her eye, motivating her to embrace life with vigor and joy.

Living life to the fullest, Barbara's hobbies brought fulfillment and connection. She found delight in bowling, not just as a pastime but as a means to foster community and camaraderie. Her personality was defined by an irreplaceable positivity; her inexhaustible energy and kindheartedness left an indelible mark on all who encountered her. Never one to succumb to negativity, Barbara navigated life’s challenges with grace, refusing to swear or harbor bitterness.

In her later years, she found companionship with Richard Genthe, who brought additional joy and companionship into her life. Together, they shared laughter and created new memories, further exemplifying the spirit of camaraderie Barbara so cherished.

Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Norman Palubiski, whose presence remains an integral part of her life story. His attractive personality and strong moral upbringing was a great mix with her almost identical livelihood. Their union was one filled with love and shared dreams. With them, she has joined Robert and Esther, her dear parents, who have welcomed her with open arms.

As we remember Barbara, we reflect on a life composed of beautiful memories, from her unwavering love for her family to her serene approach to life. The footprints she has left behind are testimonies to her vibrant spirit, an everlasting melody of laughter and affection that will continue to inspire all who carry her memory in their hearts.
