Of Cedarburg, Born on July 30, 1963, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at the age of 62 years.

Proceeded in death by her parents Alonzo Fowle III and Margurite Fowle (Stark)

Survived by Husband Robert (Bob) Gehweiler, Brother Mark Fowle {Marie}, Sister Suzie Concors {Andy}, Steve Fowle {Jeanie} and numerous Brother in-laws, Sister in-laws, and nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Amy worked in many jobs mostly in childcare and education.

She had a great variety of interests including, Love of Family and Friends, softball, bowling, skiing, outdoors, travel, The Packers and collector cars especially her 1956 Nash Metropolitan. She liked to knit baby hats and blankets to donate to hospitals.

Amy loved mailing handwritten notes and cards to everyone. Some would include a surprise of some confetti enclosed. If you would like to, as a tribute to Amy, mail a note to a friend or relative. Amy called it Happy Mail.

She was loved for her smile and great sense of humor.

Amy loved animals of all kinds, especially cats. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Humane Society of Ozaukee County or the charity of your choice.

A celebration of life is being held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, at the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center, 1111 E Brown Deer Rd., Bayside. When you arrive at the gate tell them you are there for the celebration for Amy Gehweiler. Beer, wine and soft drinks will be served with light food.
