Albert J. Aschenbrenner

Of Cedarburg, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 27, 2025, at the age of 83 years. He was born on February 4, 1942, in Thiensville, WI, to the late John Aschenbrenner and the late Luella (Staudy) Aschenbrenner. Al’s grandparents, Louis and Pauline Staudy opened the first butcher shop in Thiensville. On September 23, 1967, he married the love of his life, Margareta “Maggie” (Bollmann). They were married for 58 wonderful years.

Al went to Shorewood High School and graduated in 1960. After graduating High School, he got a four-year apprenticeship at Schlitz Brewery in Milwaukee. After Schlitz closed he went to work for Kelch Corporation in Mequon until he retired.

He had a great love for dogs. Throughout their marriage Al and Maggie had 8 furbabies. He also had a knack for old cars, spending lots of time fixing them and putting them back together. Out of all the things he enjoyed, Al’s greatest love was his family and friends.

Al leaves behind his beloved wife, Maggie, other relatives and friends.

Private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Feeding America or Ozaukee Humane Society are appreciated.
