Albert "Albie" E. Buntrock, born on February 26, 1935, in Port Washington, WI, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2025, in Belgium, WI, with his loving wife, Nancy (Patzer), by his side.
Albie was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who cherished his family deeply. He is survived by his wife, Nancy, and her children: Jeffrey (Nickie) Kimball and Jennifer (Allen) Weber. Albie was a proud grandfather to his grandchildren, Alexander "Bucky" Weber, Victoria Weber, and Kaleb Kimball, who brought joy and pride to his life.
In addition to his immediate family, Albie is survived by his brother-in-law, Frederick Patzer, and his nieces, Sara Decker and Heidi Gottschalk, along with many other relatives and friends who will miss his warmth and kindness.
Albie was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Ida (Scherer), as well as his siblings, Dr. R Dick and Verna Rohwer. Their memories lived on in Albie's heart as he often shared stories and lessons learned from them.
A man of diverse interests, Albie was an avid follower of drum corps and had a deep passion for sports. He loved baseball, particularly the St. Louis Cardinals, and was a devoted fan of the Wisconsin Badgers. His enthusiasm for life and his interests brought people together and created lasting bonds.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Albie's life during a visitation at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 701 Washington Street, Grafton, on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The funeral service will follow, beginning at 11:00 AM. Immediately following the service, interment will take place at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Grafton.
Albie Buntrock's life was a testament to love, dedication, and joy. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
