Agnes M. Raymond

With deep faith in the promise of the Resurrection, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Agnes Raymond, who entered peacefully into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.

A devout Catholic throughout her life, Agnes lived her faith not only in prayer, but in the quiet and steadfast love she showed to everyone around her. She found great comfort in her parish, St Francis Borgia in Cedarburg, Wisconsin and especially cherished time spent in Eucharistic adoration. Her faith guided her daily life and was reflected in her kindness, humility, and charity toward others.

She had a gift for nurturing beauty in both people and the world around her. She loved tending her garden, where flowers flourished under her patient care, and she found hours of joy in quilting and stitching. Her home was always welcoming, and her hands were rarely still if someone needed comfort, encouragement, or help.

Agnes was known among her many friends as someone who quietly showed up whenever others were in need. One especially cherished memory is the loving care she gave to a neighbor battling cancer — preparing meals, offering companionship, and faithfully walking beside them during a difficult time. Acts of compassion like these were simply who she was.

Her life reflected the words of Christ: “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” Through her faith, service, and charity, she touched countless lives.

Agnes was especially proud of her work as a Bookkeeper for the business she and her late husband, William E Raymond owned, M & R Electric.

She is survived by Jean (Raymond ) Bury of Bend, Oregon, Karen Raymond of Fort Collins, Colorado and John Raymond of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, who take comfort in knowing she is now embraced by the eternal love of God and reunited with family and friends who have gone before her.

In honor of Agnes, the family asks that memorial donations or acts of kindness be made in service to those in need. Private family services will be held.

May perpetual light shine upon her, and may she rest in the peace of Christ forever.
