Adrienne C. Nelson

Adrienne Nelson (nee Coutre) formerly of Arlington Heights, passed away on December 1, 2015, at the age of 78. Beloved wife of 53 years to Ronald Nelson. Loving mother of Steven (Barbara), Linda (Brian), Kristen (John), Peter (Andrea), and Janet (Emil). She was preceded in death by her son, David. Beloved grandmother of Eric, Jack, Matthew, Nicholas, Anna, John, Henry, Natalie, Samantha, Megan, Johnathan, and Alexa. Born in Chicago, on March 15, 1937, she was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Frieda, and brothers, Martin and Richard. Adrienne was a graduate of Lakeview High School and had worked in the airline industry including American Airlines, SAS, and Lufthansa. Adrienne will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, and homemaker. She was a dedicated volunteer giving her time to scouting and later the Sparrow’s Nest, in Palatine. She loved children and always had a place at her table for extended family, friends, and neighbors. Services will be private. Memorials can be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
