Adolph "Lee" Leroy Klinski

Adolph LeRoy “Lee” Klinski was called home on Friday, June 5, 2025, at the age of 87 years.

Lee was born on July 11,1937 in Houston, Minnesota to parents Rosie Klinski (nee Vraa) and Adolph Klinski. Soon after high school, Lee moved to southeastern Wisconsin, settling in Grafton, where he met and married his wife of 62 years, Jean Ann Herold. Lee and Jeannie raised their family of three children and spent the next six decades in the Grafton/Cedarburg area.

Lee proudly served his country through the Naval Reserve, was employed at Techumseh/Power Products in Grafton for 45 years, as well as being a small business owner of a family cleaning service from 1974-2005.

Lee was one of the most agreeable people you could ever meet and was never seen without a smile. He was always ready for a round of Left-Right-Center, an ice fishing trip, or an old-fashioned at the Ozaukee County Fish and Game. Lee enjoyed whatever he was doing, and his good nature will remain an inspiration to us all.

Lee and Jeannie also loved to build puzzles and travel, finding Arizona and South Dakota to be their favorite destinations. Later in their lives, their circle of travel got smaller, but it always included a trip for dinner to Schwarz’s in St. Anna, a location of frequent family gatherings and fond memories.

Lee spent the last few months of his life at The Fields of Washington County in West Bend, where he was treated with kindness and dignity for which his family is eternally grateful.

Lee will be missed by those who survive him: Loving sister, Mary (Joe) Mettille; children, Doug (Jean) Klinski, Bonnie (Fred) McCraw, Joe (Lisa) Klinski; grandchildren Kayla, Danielle (Cara), Erin, James, Kellie (Nevin); great grandchildren Pearl, Destinee, Logan, Addison, Morgan and Mia, as well as extended family and friends.

The family will be having a private gathering to celebrate Lee’s life at a date later this summer.

Donations can be made in Lee’s name to the Ozaukee County Fish and Game.
