Smith, Wendell D. Died peacefully April 10, 2017 at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband of the late Joan (nee Braunschweig). Loving father of Laurie (Jon) Ziegler and the late Susan Smith. Papa of Alyssa Sass. Brother of Victor Jr. Brother-in-law of Bertha Mae. Further survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by siblings: Caroline, Beatrice, Roland, Arlene, and Vernon. Funeral services on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 2:00pm at Grace Lutheran Church 715 6th Avenue in Grafton with an Eastern Star Service prior to at 1:30pm. Visitation at the church on Saturday from 10:30am to 1:15pm. Interment Immanuel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to Cedar Hospice Fund or Wisconsin Eastern Star Foundation are appreciated.
