Stephen D. Petsch

Stephen Douglas Petsch, 52 Stephen Douglas Petsch, entered peacefully into eternal life on April 27, 2018, surrounded by his family and loved ones. A celebration of Steve's life will be held at First Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at 1:00 pm. A visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 10:00am. Born on July 22, 1965, Steve lived his life, always centered around faith and the importance of family. Everything that he did brought joy to others. He is survived by his wife, Melanie, of 27 years, of Cedarburg, and their children; Morgan (and Eric Vogel), Alex (and Bethany Nelson), and Eric. Steve is also survived by his parents; Herman and Alice and his siblings; Timothy, Lori and Thomas Courtney, of St. Louis, MO. He was loved by a countless number of family and friends. Steve was a loving husband, a caring father, a positive role model, and an inspiration for all of those who knew him. He will be dearly missed, but we find solace in the peace that is finally his. In lieu of flowers, memorials to First Immanuel Lutheran School Building Fund are appreciated. "Come to Me all those who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28
