Roy J. Eickstedt

Roy J. Eickstedt passed away peacefully on Monday April 27, 2015 at Lawlis Family Hospice in Mequon at the age of 92 years. Roy was born in Cedarburg, WI on February 25, 1923 to the late Raymond and Norma (nee Heckendorf) Eickstedt and married Verna (nee Riebe) on October 19, 1946 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cedarburg. Roy was a WWII Army/Airforce veteran, and was a long time member of the Peter Wollner American Legion Post #288 in Cedarburg. He was also a member of the Cedarburg Historical Society. He is survived by his wife Verna of Thiensville, daughters; Janet (Bill) Evans of The Villages, FL, Barbara Beckner of Saukville, Mary (Lynn) Walter of Grafton and Christine Lockman of Cedarburg. He was preceded in death by 1 sister and 1 brother. He is further survived by 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday May 2, 12:30 PM at Mueller Funeral Home & Crematory W63 N527 Hanover Ave Cedarburg. Interment Immanuel Cemetery Cedarburg. American Legion Service at 12:15 PM. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10 AM – 12:15 PM. Memorials to the Stars & Stripes Honor Flight appreciated.
