Mappes, Robert W. “Robb” Date of Birth: June 8, 1966 Date of Death: October 25, 2012 The most amazing husband and father any family could ever wish for was unexpectedly taken from us on October 25, 2012. Robb was a friend to all, one of the most caring, patient, and kind people you could ever hope to meet. He loved his family above all else. Trips to Disney World, Chicago, and Green Bay with him will always be very special memories for Kim and the kids. Robb loved sports – from playing football and baseball in the backyard with the kids, helping with boys' baseball and football teams, cheering for Gracie at her dance competitions, rooting for the Packers and Badgers, playing 1st base for his “senior” softball team – any kind of sports made him very happy. Robb is survived by his wife, Kim, and children, Gracie, Logan, and Carson. There isn’t a husband or daddy who will ever be able to be more missed than he will be, however, we know he will always live in our hearts and he is watching us from heaven to take care of us from there. Robb is also survived by his mother, Ruth Mappes, mother-in-law, Doris Schmidt, sisters-in-law, a brother-in-law, nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and dear friends. Funeral services to be held by on Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at Pilgrim United Church of Christ, 1621 2nd Avenue, Grafton, WI. Visitation will begin at 10:30, with the service at 12:00 and a luncheon to follow in the church’s fellowship room. Private interment. Robb – you were the gift I never thought I would have when I met you at age 30. You were the best husband, so strong, so loving. We had so many wonderful times together which I will always treasure, and I will love and miss you forever, Your P. Daddy – we love you so much!
