Robert L. Zehren 'Bob'

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 24th at 7:00pm at Mueller Funeral home in Cedarburg, W63N527 Hanover Avenue for Robert “Bob” L. Zehren who died on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at the age of 81 years from natural causes at Horizon Hospice in Mequon, WI. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at the funeral home from 4:00pm until the time of the American Legion Post #288 walk through. Inurnment will be held on Saturday, April 27th at Zur Ruhe Cemetery in Cedarburg at 11:30am with Military Honors. Robert was born on September 29, 1931 in West Bend, Wisconsin to the late Alphonse and Marcella (St. Louis) Zehren. Bob was united in marriage to Kathleen (nee Krause) on July 29, 1967. Bob enjoyed fishing, hunting and liked to work with wood, traveling was also an enjoyment of his. Robert proudly served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the Peter Wollner American Legion Post #288. He worked for the Thiensville/Mequon School District for several years. Bob loved life but most of all he loved spending time with his family. Bob is survived by his wife; Kathleen, children; Lynda (George) VanDreel, Dennis and John (Doreen) Zehren, daughter-in-law ; Ruth Zehren, grandchildren; Edward (Lori) Arndt, Sandra (Travis Schoenborn) Arndt, Tim VanDreel, Brittany (John Stang) VanDreel, Eric (Kristin) Zehren, James (Lynn Filenius) Zehren, April Zehren, Jake Zehren, Travis Zehren, Eric (Kaley) Fuchs, Nick Fuchs, Emily (Brandon Hainstock) Zehren and Andrea (Daniel) Huffstetler, great-grandchildren; Sabrina, Robert, Susan, Andrew, Zaida, Laila, Emry, Ella, Liam, Adrian and Jordyn, siblings;Tom Zehren, Marjorie Anderson, Nancy (Donny) Peters and Sue (Richard) Weber, sister-in-law; Dorothy (Richard) Shallue, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Bob is preceded in death by his parents; Alphonse and Marcella, his son; Paul Zehren, his brother-in-law; Andy Anderson and his niece; Sandy Zehren.
