A funeral service was held on Saturday July 30, 2005 – 1:00 PM at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg, for Meta A. Sperber Nee Haas, who went home to her Lord on Tuesday, July 26, 2005 at the age of 95 years. Visitation was at the Church from 11:00-1:00 PM. Interment was at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Cedarburg, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church or memorials of your Choice. Meta married the late Oliver Sperber on June 4, 1932 in Mequon, WI. They were blessed with two children, Floyd, and JoAnn. Meta is survived by her daughter: JoAnn Al Vey; grandchildren: Bambi David Wallsten, Kevin Vickie Sperber, Toni Paul Dickmann, Tom Tracey Sperber, Dean AmyVey, Jon Pam Sperber, Ann Mike Fechter, Russell Cathy Vey, Robert Shawn Vey, Jamie Trish Sperber, Steven Tami Vey, Paul Sperber, and Brad Sperber; 22 great-grandchildren, Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Meta was proceeded in death by Her husband Oliver, son Floyd, 3 brothers, and a sister.
