James L. Bartlett

Of MEQUON. November 24, 2017 age 89 yrs. Loving husband of the late Hertha H. (nee Schoessow). Beloved father of James (Ellen), Christine (Douglas) Wehse, Deborah (Patrick) Streff, Michael, Jeff (Patty), Kevin (Pam), Keith (Elena), Kurtis and son-in-law David. Further survived by his sister Annie, 23 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. James was preceded in death by 2 daughters; Angela Johnson and Patrice Bartlett. Funeral service Tuesday November 28, 5 PM at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church 10729 W. Freistadt Rd. Mequon. Interment church cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday from 3:30 PM – 4:45 PM. Memorials to Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church appreciated. James enlisted in the Army Air Corps at age 17, proudly serving his country in WWII. To our wonderful & caring father, grandfather, & loving husband for 67 years. Thank you for being a reflection of God’s love and grace. Now you are pain free and singing with the Angels of God. We love you and will see you again. We want to especially thank the VA staff for their exceptional care of our dad.
