Private services were held for James Fugate, of Grafton, who died at the Belair Health Care Facility in Milwaukee on August 3, 2006at the age of 76 yrs.. James was born on April 22, 1930 in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Claude and the late Vernia nee Ward Fugate. He later married Joanne Kuehl in Sheboygan on May 31, 1952. Their marriage was blessed with four children. James served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He received the Good Conduct Medal, a Korean Svc. Medal, and the W/1 Bronze Star. James is survived by his wife: Joanne Fugate of Grafton, children: Christine Dr. Fred Timm of the town of Grafton, Vicki Fugate of Jackson, Thomas Jean Fugate of Grafton, and Betty Michael Cibulka of the town of Grafton, grandchildren: Andrew and Emily Timm; Jacob and Caleb Sigler; Robert and Joseph Fugate; Adam and Abigail Cibulka, siblings: Willie Mae Smith of Johnson City, TN, Lillian Smith of Johnson City, TN, Stella Dickinson of Castlewood, VA, and Jerry Fugate of St. Paul, VA.
