Edward "Ed" W. Aufderheide

Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 11:00am at the Cedarburg Mueller Funeral Home W63N527 Hanover Avenue for Edward W. Aufderheide who died on January 14, 2017 at the age of 89 years at Kathy Hospice in West Bend. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00am to 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to one of the following organizations: American Diabetes Association, American Cancer Society or the National MS Society – WI chapter appreciated. Ed was born October 23, 1927 in Pittsburgh, PA to Wilbert and Louise. He was in the U.S. Coast Guard, stationed in St. Louis, MO where he met his wife Doris. Ed spent more than 50 years in Wisconsin. He worked for over 40 years as a Shift Supervisor for WI Electric & Power Co, and was able to enjoy many wonderful years of retirement. An avid golfer, Ed achieved a hole-in-one twice during his lifetime! He loved playing card games, traveling, fishing, watching sports and spending time with his family and friends. Ed is survived by his children: Brian (Joann), David (Susan) and Craig Aufderheide. He is also survived by Grandchildren, Step Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Step-Great Grandchildren, nieces, nephews and Brother-in-law Warren Yahr. He is preceded in death by: his parents, Wilbert & Louise Aufderheide, his wife, Doris (wed in 1946), wife, Patricia (wed in 1991), brother, Robert, daughter-in-law, Loraine, and Sisters-in-law, Carol and Nancy.
