On April 26, 2014, at 52 years of age, Douglas Zorn went home to be with Jesus his Savior whom he loved. A celebration of his life will be held at Alliance Bible Church on Friday, May 2 at 6:00pm. A visitation will take place prior from 3:00pm to 5:45pm and a dinner reception will follow the service. Memorials of your choice are appreciated. Doug was born in Ohio, but spent most of his life in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. He attended Westlawn, Thorson, Webster, and Cedarburg High Schools graduating in 1981. He continued his education at Marquette University earning Bachelor degrees in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering. Shortly after graduation on August 2, 1986, he married the love of his life, Shannon (nee Radtke), also from Cedarburg. Together they had 4 children with whom Doug was very close. He was a part of the Alliance Bible Church family since its beginning and was involved in many ministries that touched hearts and changed people’s lives. Doug was dearly loved by his children and wife and set an example of what a godly husband and father should be. He also made life joyful and fun for all those around him with his laughter and sense of humor. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and those who dearly loved him. He is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 28 years, Shannon, daughter Jessa, and sons Joshua, Taylor, and Peter. He is further survived by his mother Susan Zorn, father Donald Zorn, and sisters Ellen Brichetto, Anne Rismeyer, and Mary Zorn and their families.
